I am Katherine Wang and live in Beijing, China. I love to create jewelry that plays on the contrast between shapes & forms, colors, materials and textures. When I was little, I did not have a barbie doll, but I had color pencils which I drew my barbies and my dreams. I did interior design in Canada has extended my interests into jewelry design. I just like making things with my own two hands that I love and that other people love. I've been designing and creating jewelry for a few years and have enjoyed every minute of it. My style is handmade, trendy, east meet west, and contemporary. The tide of China Renaissance and its modern arts and designs is getting international market's love. I am drawing a lot of inspirations from my home country, I do not want to present the traditional side of China, but a new and contemporary China.
